Run and Pass Ltd offer various ways to deliver greater opportunities for activity sessions:
Kids – Run and Pass for Kids.
These are fun play schemes (with a rugby theme) for children aged 2 to 5 years of age: Little Runners (girls and boys 2-3.5 years) and Little Passers (girls and boys 2-3.5 years) sessions.
The emphasis is on enjoyment and participation in active sessions which take into consideration the different developmental stages of participants.
They are about having a fun time!
Little Runners (girls and boys 2-3.5yrs)
The sessions encourage the development of core skills of balance, co-ordination and agility, the development of communication and social skills (such as sharing) and general knowledge such as the identification of body parts, counting and identification of colours. Each session uses a variety of child-friendly equipment and appropriate parental support is welcomed. Sessions last 45 minutes.
Little Passers (girls and boys 3.5 to 5yrs)
The sessions would develop the core skills from Little Runners and start to introduce more rugby themed skill-sets which would involve, amongst other activities, passing and catching, evasion, side-stepping, scoring tries and the growth of confidence through fun play. Sessions last 1 hour, with reduced parental participation.
There will be a minimum required number of 5 children but no more than 12 attending each session to ensure that each child can receive the necessary attention.
Children and adults with disabilities and learning difficulties – Rugby Fun For All
